SBB is taking the fifth in its SBB Steel Markets Europe conference series to Germany, the EU’s largest economy and its biggest steel producer, consumer, importer and exporter.
Market conditions and price movements are uppermost in the minds of everyone in the steel supply chain following the double impact of the global economic downturn and credit crunch, with expectations that by mid-year there could be signs of an upswing in all the key parameters. This conference will bring attendees right up to date with steel supply, demand, trade and price issues, and provide top level views on the landscape ahead to guide them into the second half year.
Speaker sessions on core topics will be complemented by expert panels debating the contentious issues of steel futures and finance. Focused workshops and steel tours will also be available.
