Mr. Dias is an executive director at Construtora Andrade Gutierrez and is presently responsible for developing business in the Brazilian and Latin American markets.
Mr. Dias graduated in 1972 as industrial mechanical engineer and started working in 1970 at Ishikawajima’s shipyard in Rio de Janeiro. From 1973 until 1978 worked as a project coordination engineer with significant industrial projects implemented in Brazil by companies such as Vale do Rio Doce.
He joined Construtora Andrade Gutierrez in 1978, and worked in several construction projects in Brazil and abroad until the end of 1986. He then returned to Rio de Janeiro to join Enge Rio Engenharia e Consultoria, which at the time was one of largest engineering design companies in the hydro power sector, and become one of its executive directors in 1988.
In 1990 he left Enge Rio and worked as an independent consultant to several important clients in the power, metals and construction sectors until 1995 when he rejoined Construtora Andrade Gutierrez. There he developed important public infrastructure projects until 1999 and since then expanded their activities, obtaining several significant contracts in the Oil & Gas and Mining /Metals sectors..
His marketing skills and proactive actions enabled the formation in 2004 of a new business unit within the company’ organization, presently responsible for one third of the company’s turn over of 1,5 billion dollars in 2007.

Paulo Cardamone is the director of the Latin American division of CSM since 1977. Presently he is the responsible for the forecast activities related to production and sales for the automotive sector in South America. Moreover, he is also the coordinator of studies of powertrain and technological development projects of systems and components for vehicles in the region.
Mr. Cardamone has worked in several multinational and local companies managing different areas such as marketing, strategic projects and product development, directing his effort to the accesories market of assembly lines for local and foreign distributors.
He graduated in statistical studies from Universidad Estadual de Campinas (Unicamp) and he has got a MBA in Business Managing from University of Sao Paulo (USP).

Presently Mr. Lucio Teixeira Coelho works for his own company providing services relating to importation of solid fuels to Brazil, as well as dealing with the Thermal Coal, Coking Coal and the Coke market in the country. He is considered a specialist in the Brazilian steel making industry and also in the design of coke oven batteries plants. For the last six years Mr. Coelho has consulted on solid fuels with low volatile contents for Comexport – Companhia de Comercio Exterior in São Paulo, SP, Brazil.
He was born in the state of Minas Gerais, Brazil and started his career as a technician making coke at the coke oven batteries at Usiminas. After 9 years working for Usiminas he then worked for Açominas (presently Gerdau Açominas) and spent 14 years as Mettalurgical Engineer in the coal and coke purchasing Dept. in the steel making plant in Ouro Branco, MG, Brazil.
In the beginning of the 1990’s he moved to the city of Rio de Janeiro working as a coal and coke trader to the brazilian mills working for companies such as Kanematsu Corporation, Rheinbraun Thyssen Energy, Intermesa and BHP Billiton. He has been representing coking and PCI coals to Brazil like the Carter Roag (USA) , Metropolitan (Australia) , Weglokoks (Poland), Ingwe (South Africa) and Fording (Canada).
Today he attends many conferences as a speaker on Brazil’s energy, solid fuels importation and steelmaking industries in several places in the world as Cartagena (Colombia), Shanghai (China), Moscow and Saint Petersburg (Russia), Vienna (Austria) and Vancouver (Canada).

Mr. Freire has a graduation in Business Management from Fundação Armando Alvares Penteado (FAAP) and an MBA from Fundação Instituto de Administração (FIA/USP). He worked at the tubemaker and steel products company TYCO until 2003, when he became President of FREFER, company created by his father.

Recently he is also responsible for the rest of the traditional products that Gerdau Açominas also manufactures like plate, billet, wire rod and structural profiles. He has 35 years off experience in significant national and international companies including White Martins, BOC Group, Lincoln Electric and Elevadores Otis.
In the last seven years Mr. Gaspar has devoted himself in the development of new steel construction projects in Brazil and Latin America offering metal solutions and working together with important Brazilian steel companies such as ABCEM and CBCA (Brazilian Centre of Steel Construction).

Eduardo Gisbert is a Mechanical Enginee who received his degree from Pittsburgh University. Presently, he is the vice president executive at Empresas Orinoco Iron, SCS and Venprecar based in Guayana City, which belong to International Briquettes Holding (IBH). Currently, he is in charge of the Quality Control and Supply Department of the mills Orinoco Iron SCS and Venprecar.
Mr. Gisbert aims to have a good relation among his company’s main suppliers such as CVG Ferrominera Orinoco, PDVSA Gas and Edelca (Electricity).
From 1998 until 2003 he was vice president of operations at Orinoco Iron, C.A. in Guayana City for Sivensa Group, associated with the Australian BHP Billiton.
Mr. Gisbert has participated in the construction of several constructions projects of pellet and hot briquette iron plants.

Yavor Luketic has over 24 years of experience on the construction and steel business. He graduated with a degree in Business Management, and also an MBA in Business for Executives from Fundação Getúlio Vargas, in São Paulo. In 2007, Mr Luketic was named president of Perfilor, ArcelorMittal Construction’s affiliated, leader in the Brazilian construction steel sector.
Luketic is also Vice-President of the Brazilian Association of Metallic Construction and has worked in major companies such as Tigre S.A. Tubos e Conexões, Grupo Dema, Hurd Sudamerica S.A. and S.A. Athena, where he has occupied positions as Director and President.

Steve Mackrell has worked in the steel industry for over 30 years originally joining the then British Steel in 1974 after previously working in management consultancy. He's now an Executive Director of the London based Iron and Steel Statistics Bureau (ISSB) which gives him a panoramic view of the changing landscape of facts and figures in the global steel industry.
In recent years he has become a popular international speaker talking to various industry groups such as steel mills, steel stockholders and traders, suppliers of steelmaking materials and equipment and to steel consuming groups in manufacturing and construction. Recent engagements have included presentations to Eurometal (the European steel stockholders), Eurofer (the European steel mills), the Arab Iron and Steel Union, The Metal Forum of the Ukraine, Rusmet (Metallurgical Industry of Russia), the BIR (Bureau of International Recycling), the Australian Steel Institute, the China Iron and Steel Association, the International Pig Iron Association plus steel industry speaking engagements in Shanghai, Beijing, Guangzhou, Singapore, Delhi and Mumbai.

John Mainwaring started his commercial life in Coutinho Caro, the fore-runner of Stemcor during which time he was a delegate for the Group based in the Caribbean, East Africa and ultimately in India, returning to London to head up the Group's Tin mill Division.
Today, one of his main responsibilities is to guide the Group offices in their purchasing / selling of flat-rolled and to ensure that Stemcor has a Group-wise global approach to these products. Today he is the Vice President and Commercial Director of Viena (V.P.S. Channel) that is the single largest exporter of pig iron in Brazil. The Company has five mini blast furnaces and annual installed capacity of 500,000 MT per year with state of the art technology, including a Pulverized Charcoal Injection (P.C.I.) system, a Sinter and a Power plant.

Mr. P.S. Venkataramanan is the CEO of ArcelorMittal Mexico. Prior to the formation of ArcelorMittal, he was CEO of Mittal Steel Lazaro Cardenas.
Between 2004 and 2005, Mr. P.S. Venkataramanan held the position of Vice President of Sales and Marketing of Mittal Steel Canada. Before joining Mittal Steel, he worked 14 years for the Steel Authority of India in various Sales and Marketing positions.
Mr. P.S. Venkataramanan carried out postgraduate studies in Geology and Management. He arrived Mexico in 1993 as Director of Sales and Marketing to oversee and implement the company’s sales strategy in the region and build long-term relationships with customers. Since then he has made Mexico his new home.
