SBB Steel Raw Materials Asia Conference 2012
30-31 Mai 2012

SBB Steel Raw Materials Asia Conference 2012

Now in its third year, SBB Steel Raw Materials Asia 2012 is a uniquely positioned conference providing crucial insights to help participants make strategic decisions in the rapidly evolving Asian Raw Materials market. For the first time in Asia, the powerful partnership of Platts and Steel Business Briefing (SBB) brings new insights to this crucial global market.

The emergence of rapidly evolving market pricing mechanisms and financial derivatives have increased the opportunities for trading and risk management activities. Looming large is the impact on raw materials demand as China moves from an export to consumer driven economy. Will slowing Chinese demand and increased global production result in a 'perfect storm' scenario? What is India's role in the raw materials landscape? What is the medium- and longer-term outlook for raw materials prices? This conference will provide actionable reference points and insightful case studies to enable decision making.

This year’s conference will feature presentations by leading players in iron ore, metallurgical coal, coke and scrap, as well insights from SBB, TSI and Platts experts. We look forward to seeing you in Singapore in May.
